Always Becoming

Meshali Mitchell's Farmhouse Restoration in DFW

As I’ve often shared, this old 1800’s farmhouse is constantly evolving and “being” restored. One of the most common questions asked is, “On a scale of 1-10, how finished are you in restoring the house?” I always answer, "As a creative, I think as long as I live here, it will be a passion project for me, and I’ve learned to like it that way"

The updates on the front porch are happening this week, and it’s nice to see.

Always “becoming.”

Sometimes in the making of “all things new”, it can look like demolition.

Believing with you for the GOD of restoration to encourage you today-right in the middle of the process!

Gonna paint when all is complete…and love a good front porch! We used treated pine for the decking and good new cedar posts! For fresh strength to hold the weight and cedar is so beautiful.
